Those desiring services can telephone Starz Counseling at 330-953-3113, or by accessing the Client Portal link above.  Office hours are by appointment only.  We are unable to accept walk-ins at this time.

All necessary consents and authorizations will be completed.  A comprehensive, biopsychosocial assessment will be conducted, and a diagnosis will be formulated based upon the information gathered. Both Client and Clinician will work towards a common goal for establishing a therapeutic rapport.

The initial assessment takes approximately 60 minutes.  The length of individualized counseling sessions thereafter can last between 15-60 minutes.  A treatment plan is collaborated between Client and Clinician and will be developed within the second and/or third sessions.  This treatment plan can be amended as counseling progresses and will also be updated annually.  The duration of Client's overall counseling experience is based upon client-centered needs, progress, and navigation throughout life experiences and changes.

Starz Counseling does not offer medication management services but does collaborate with outside agencies for consultation.  A Referral Form and a Release of Information Form are readily available to ensure both Clinician and medication provider can meet Client's needs with simple processing and continuity of care.  Starz Counseling can also work with a Client's primary care physician for medication management services by signing a Release of Information Form.

Starz Counseling accepts a variety of insurances.  Claims will be filed with your insurance company and co-pays may apply.  Co-pays can typically range from $10 - $60 per session.

Self-pay fees for services are as follows:

• Initial Intake - $250
• Individual Sessions - Ranging from $100 - $150, based upon length of session
